Do you remember Shah Rukh Khan’s movie “Baazigar”- “Haar Kar Jitne Wale Ko Baazigar Kehte Hai ” Country’s situation is exactly fitting in the same dialogue’s box . Country’s recent Political environment is not better than this. The only difference is Shah Rukh Khan was acting and Narendra Modi actually plays Baazigar.
Since 15 days back PM Modi was seen on back foot on many issues like defeat in the three major states and Rafale scam. After the Air strikes the whole picture has flipped and BJP have fallen back in the old style.
Think if the same situation like Pulwama attack of February 14, would have happened in the tenure of some other government then it would be that government’s biggest failure. Ironically Power and diplomacy of the Narendra Modi Government changed the situation.
What has happened in the last few days?
Look at the whole incident with another angle. Terror attacks in Pulwama pulled a wave of anger in the country. The recent government was already facing the attacks of the opposition and then terrorists also brought great trouble to the government. This was not the only incident with the country where many such soldiers were martyred together in a terrorist attack. About 9 years ago, 76 soldiers were killed in Maoist attack in Bastar of Chhattisgarh.
It is said that Karma is a bitch and what you give you get. So the opposition parties would also wrap Modi government in many questions and arguments, in the same style what he did in 9/11. The opposition has already started it. Earlier on February 11, the BJP government was restless with the trailer of Priyanka Gandhi’s Political Entry. From February 17, Priyanka was all set to step in for election campaign. The challenge to get back to the power again was increasing rapidly for BJP.
PM Narendra Modi was battling on several fronts together!!
Whether it is a news channel or social media Only Priyanka’s name was in front. Another big challenge for Modi is the SP-BSP strong coalition in UP. In 2014, BJP had won 71 seats from Uttar Pradesh … but after the SP-BSP coalition, the situation suddenly changed. BJP was about to get a heavy loss at the grassroots level. The survey of TV channels was giving only 20-25 seats to the BJP. In such a situation, the fear of loss of 40-50 seats made Narendra Modi restless. And then, the Pulwama attack changed the whole political game.
