While telling the story of her childhood, Neha Kakkar started crying during a show. In fact, Neha’s father used to sell samosas outside the school, due to which she had to face embarrassment.
Neha Kakkar today is one of the well-known singers of Bollywood. Neha Kakkar who gave life to songs like Ankh Mare, Dilbar-Dilbar and Badri ki dulhaniya, it was not easy to make a name in Bollywood. Although today, Neha Kakkar has achieved a successful position with her singing she has also seen the period when her father had to make a lot of efforts to run the house. While telling the story of her childhood, Neha Kakkar started crying during a show. In fact, Neha’s father sold samosas outside the school to feed her family, due to which she had to face embarrassment.
Neha had played the role of a judge in Zee TV’s popular singing reality show ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Little Champs Season 6’. During the launch of the show, Neha became passionate about her father’s struggle. Neha had said, “Today when I see children becoming part of the reality show, I use to remember my struggle. Earlier Father used to work hard to give us a good life. I still can not forget the days when my father Sonu Didi (sister Sonu Kakkar) used to sell samosas outside the school.
Neha further said, “Later I came to Delhi to live. Sonu Didi and my brother used to sing songs in Jagran. I started singing at the age of four. At that time there was no time limit, which would have caused the song to sing till the morning. Some people never praise our efforts. Singing songs for several hours meant that I could not go to school the next morning. U-turn came in my life when I participated in a singing reality show. Neha Kakkar was seen as the judge in the singing reality show Indian Idol 10.
